Carvana is hiring a 2nd Shift Operations Manager to oversee daily operations within their Inspection Center in Trenton, OH. You'll manage a team of leads and associates while ensuring quality and production objectives are met.

Who you are
You have a strong background in operations management, ideally within a manufacturing or reconditioning environment. Your leadership skills shine as you mentor and guide a diverse team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high engagement. You understand the importance of maintaining quality standards and are committed to achieving production goals while ensuring a safe and efficient workplace. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adept at problem-solving and decision-making.
Desirable
Experience in lean manufacturing principles is a plus, as is familiarity with vehicle reconditioning processes. You are comfortable using data to drive decisions and improve operational efficiency. A background in the automotive industry would be beneficial but is not required.
What you'll do
As the 2nd Shift Operations Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the Inspection Center, ensuring that all vehicles meet Carvana's rigorous quality standards. You will lead a team of at least five leads and up to 70 front-line associates, providing mentorship and accountability to drive performance. Your role will involve implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and maintain high associate engagement. You will collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and uphold Carvana's commitment to delivering a no-hassle car buying experience.
