What you'll do
As the 2nd Shift Reconditioning Manager, you will oversee the daily operations within the Inspection Center, ensuring that all vehicles meet Carvana's rigorous mechanical and cosmetic standards. You will be responsible for directing a team of at least five leads and up to 70 front-line associates, guiding them through the reconditioning process and ensuring that they have the resources and support needed to excel in their roles. Your focus will be on maintaining a lean manufacturing environment, where efficiency and quality go hand in hand.
You will implement and uphold best practices in vehicle inspection and reconditioning, ensuring that every car meets the high standards that Carvana promises to its customers. Your role will involve regular mentoring and accountability sessions with your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high engagement. You will also be responsible for tracking performance metrics and making data-driven decisions to enhance operational efficiency.
