You have a proven track record in operations management, particularly in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or inspection environment. Your experience includes overseeing teams and ensuring that operational goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. You are skilled in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and associate engagement, and you understand the importance of mentoring and accountability in a team setting. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adept at managing multiple priorities effectively. You are committed to delivering exceptional results and ensuring that every vehicle meets rigorous mechanical and cosmetic standards.
What you'll do
As the Reconditioning Manager at Carvana, you will oversee the daily operations of the Inspection Center, ensuring that all aspects of the vehicle reconditioning process are executed efficiently and effectively. You will lead a team of at least five leads and up to 70 front-line associates, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals. Your responsibilities will include monitoring production metrics, maintaining quality standards, and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. You will also be responsible for fostering a positive work environment that encourages associate engagement and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with other departments to ensure that the reconditioning process aligns with Carvana's mission of delivering a no-hassle, better car buying experience.
