Who you are
You have a minimum of 1 year of professional experience in wheel and rim repair — you understand the intricacies of repairing deep wheel damage and are familiar with the tools and techniques required for the job. You are eager to learn and grow within the automotive industry, and you appreciate the importance of quality workmanship in every repair you undertake.
You are detail-oriented and take pride in your work — ensuring that each wheel you repair meets the high standards set by Carvana. You are comfortable using a wheel repair machine and have experience with painting and clear-coating wheels, which are essential skills for this role. You are also a team player who enjoys collaborating with others in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll do
As a Rim Repair Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for repairing deep wheel damage and ensuring that all repairs are completed to the highest standards. You will utilize state-of-the-art tools in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, allowing you to deliver quality results efficiently. You will also be expected to participate in training programs that will help you develop your skills and advance your career within the company.
In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a positive team environment, where collaboration and communication are key. You will work closely with other technicians and staff to ensure that all vehicles meet Carvana's quality standards before they are delivered to customers.
