Carvana is hiring a Wheel Tech to perform full and partial wheel repairs, maintaining high standards for efficiency and safety. This role is based in Riverside, CA.
Job Description
Who you are
You are someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality repairs and understands the importance of maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced environment. You have experience in performing cosmetic surface damage repairs, including curb rash, gouges, scratches, and chips, and are familiar with the tools and techniques required to achieve factory specifications. You thrive in a team-oriented culture where collaboration and support are key to success.
What you'll do
In this role, you will report to the Body Shop or designated Manager and be responsible for performing full and partial wheel repairs. Your duties will include removing cosmetic surface damage through a preparation process that involves using both power and manual tools to grind and sand imperfections. You will also be tasked with surface preparation, masking, color matching, refinishing, and buffing to meet factory standards. Additionally, you will apply blending, polishing, and touch-up techniques as required to ensure the highest quality of work.
