Who you are

You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience, demonstrating your expertise in various bodywork techniques. Your background includes extensive experience in heavy plastic welding, metal pulling, straightening, and stud welding, which are essential for the role. You are also skilled in roof and rocker panel repair, as well as large area bodywork, including Bondo repair. Your ability to train and mentor other autobody technicians is a key aspect of your experience, showcasing your leadership skills in a technical environment.

Your attention to detail ensures that every vehicle meets high-quality standards before delivery. What you'll do

As the Head Autobody Tech at Carvana, you will lead a team of autobody technicians, ensuring that they are well-trained and equipped to perform high-quality bodywork. You will oversee the execution of extensive bodywork on multiple panels, utilizing state-of-the-art tools in our high-tech Inspection Centers. Your responsibilities will include training new technicians and providing ongoing support to enhance their skills and efficiency.

You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality and safety in the workshop, ensuring that all work is completed to the satisfaction of our customers. You will also collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall service delivery. Your role will involve hands-on work, as well as strategic planning to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
