Who you are
You have over 5 years of experience in product design, with a strong track record of designing and shipping mobile applications. Your deep proficiency in Figma allows you to create intuitive and delightful user experiences that resonate with users. You are passionate about user-centered design and have a portfolio that showcases your design thinking and process.
As a founding designer at an early-stage startup, you understand the importance of every design decision and how it impacts the company's success. You are mission-oriented and aware of the startup's fragile nature, ready to dedicate your time and attention to solving business challenges rather than addressing political or societal issues. Your collaborative spirit enables you to work closely with engineers and other designers to bring product visions to life.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the design process for Casa's iOS apps, ensuring a seamless user experience for both members and vendors. You will prototype and iterate on new features, quickly responding to user needs and feedback. Collaborating closely with engineers, you will create intuitive, beautiful, and functional user interfaces that embody the product vision.
Your responsibilities will include defining the design culture within the team and contributing to the overall product strategy. You will be involved in user research to understand homeowner pain points and translate those insights into actionable design solutions. As a senior member of the design team, you will mentor junior designers and help shape the future of the product.
