You are an experienced Site Reliability Engineer with a strong background in software engineering and a practical understanding of modern cloud-native infrastructure. You have a proven track record of ensuring system reliability and observability, particularly in environments utilizing AWS and Kubernetes. Your communication skills are excellent, allowing you to collaborate effectively with engineering teams to achieve common goals.

You possess advanced technical expertise in site reliability practices and are familiar with GitOps workflows. Your ability to automate processes and improve system performance is a key strength. You thrive in a remote work environment and are comfortable managing your time and responsibilities independently while contributing to a team.

Desirable

Experience with AI platforms or similar technologies is a plus. Familiarity with incident management and monitoring tools will enhance your ability to succeed in this role. You are always eager to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies that can improve system reliability and efficiency.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for building and scaling Caseware's AI platform, ensuring that systems are reliable, observable, and automated. You will work closely with engineering teams to implement best practices in site reliability, focusing on cloud-native infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, monitoring system performance, and responding to incidents to minimize downtime.

You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that enhance system reliability. Your role will involve automating workflows and processes to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention. You will be expected to contribute to the development of documentation and training materials to support team members and improve overall knowledge sharing.
