Who you are

You have 4+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, with a strong background in managing and deploying applications in cloud environments. Your expertise in Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE/Fargate, etc.) allows you to effectively orchestrate containerized applications, ensuring high availability and scalability. You are skilled in designing and implementing robust CI/CD pipelines that automate application and platform deployments, enhancing the efficiency of the release process.

You possess a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and have hands-on experience with AWS services, enabling you to deploy and support new infrastructure components seamlessly. Your operational support skills ensure that production updates and hotfixes are executed smoothly across various products, including Poynt terminals and cloud services. You are also committed to mentoring junior team members, sharing your knowledge, and fostering a culture of operational excellence within your team.

Desirable

Experience with monitoring and alerting tools is a plus, as it helps you maintain system reliability and performance. Familiarity with incident management practices will further enhance your ability to respond to production issues effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineering, product, and business teams to coordinate release schedules and ensure timely delivery of features.

What you'll do

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at GoDaddy, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our cutting-edge eCommerce platform. You will collaborate with multinational development teams to ensure the smooth deployment and ongoing maintenance of our platform. Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and managing robust CI/CD pipelines to automate application and platform deployments. You will own and continually enhance the release process to ensure scalability, efficiency, and high quality across distributed environments.

You will deploy and support new infrastructure components, providing operational support for production updates and hotfixes across various products. Your collaboration with engineering, product, and business teams will be essential in coordinating release schedules and ensuring timely, reliable delivery. Additionally, you will mentor junior team members and participate in on-call rotations to maintain system reliability and operational excellence.
