Job Description
Who you are
You are looking for a part-time opportunity to contribute to life-saving treatments through clinical research. As a Medical Research Assistant, you will be responsible for monitoring the activities of study participants and ensuring accurate data collection. While previous medical experience is preferred, it is not required, and excellent training will be provided to help you succeed in this role.
You possess strong attention to detail and are comfortable handling human biological samples. You are eager to learn and adapt to the responsibilities of taking vital signs, performing EKGs, and conducting phlebotomy. Your ability to work effectively in a team environment will be essential as you collaborate with other research staff to ensure the smooth operation of clinical studies.
What you'll do
In this role, you will monitor the activities of study participants, ensuring that all procedures are followed according to protocol. You will handle human biological samples with care and precision, recording data accurately to support the research process. Taking vital signs and performing EKGs will be part of your daily responsibilities, along with conducting phlebotomy and measuring height and weight.
You will also monitor meals provided to study participants, ensuring compliance with study guidelines. Your role is crucial in supporting the research team in gathering reliable data that contributes to the development of new treatments. You will receive comprehensive training to equip you with the necessary skills to perform these tasks effectively.
