Celigo is hiring a Staff Software QA Engineer to lead testing activities and contribute to automation efforts. You'll work with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, and various integration technologies. This role requires hands-on experience in quality assurance and automation testing.
Job Description
Who you are
You have extensive experience in quality assurance, particularly in designing and evaluating quality control methods and systems. Your hands-on approach allows you to participate actively in test case development and execution, ensuring that the product meets the highest standards. You are skilled in functional and automation testing, and you understand the importance of delivering a robust test strategy and plan to stakeholders.
You possess a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools, which enables you to contribute effectively to ongoing automation efforts. Your knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized environments enhances your ability to work in modern development settings. You are also familiar with event-driven architectures and message queues, such as Kafka and RabbitMQ, which are essential for system integration testing.
You have experience leading QA engineers from a technical perspective, guiding them through testing activities and ensuring that projects are delivered on time. Your ability to multitask across various products and projects demonstrates your strong organizational skills and commitment to quality.
Desirable
While not mandatory, experience with tools like Splunk and Snowflake is a plus, as it complements your QA expertise. Your exposure to performance testing will further enhance your contributions to the team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the testing activities for Celigo's products, which involves developing and executing test strategies and plans. You will be responsible for delivering regular test status updates to different stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the testing process. Your contributions to automation will include developing new test scripts and executing test suites, which will help streamline the QA process.
You will collaborate closely with the Customer Success team to address customer escalations and provide guidance to both internal and external stakeholders.
