Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in quality assurance with a focus on performance testing for SaaS applications. With your expertise in designing and executing performance tests, you ensure that applications are scalable, reliable, and responsive. You are familiar with tools like JMeter, Locust.io, and Gatling, which you use to develop and maintain test scripts. Your analytical skills allow you to monitor application performance using Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic, or Dynatrace, providing actionable insights to development and operations teams.
You understand the importance of collaboration and work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate performance considerations into the development lifecycle. Your documentation skills are top-notch, allowing you to create comprehensive test plans, procedures, and findings that guide the team in optimizing system performance. You have hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools, which enhances your ability to contribute effectively in an Agile Scrum environment.
Your experience also includes UI automation, and you are open to leveraging AI for test case generation or AI-driven testing. You are comfortable working with tools like Jira and Postman, which are essential for tracking progress and managing testing workflows. You thrive in a team-oriented environment and are eager to share your knowledge and learn from others.
Desirable

What you'll do
As a Senior QA Engineer I at Celigo, you will play a crucial role in the Product QA division, ensuring that our SaaS applications meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. You will design and implement performance testing strategies tailored specifically for our SaaS environments, conducting load, stress, and scalability tests to identify system bottlenecks. Your findings will directly influence the development process, as you analyze test results and provide actionable insights to both development and operations teams.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring that performance considerations are integrated into the development lifecycle from the outset. This collaboration will involve documenting test plans, procedures, and findings comprehensively, allowing for clear communication and understanding among team members. You will also monitor application performance using various tools, ensuring that any issues are promptly addressed and resolved.
In addition to performance testing, you will have the opportunity to contribute to UI automation efforts, enhancing the overall quality of our applications.
