Who you are

You have 4-6 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a solid understanding of quality assurance techniques and testing methodologies. Your background includes designing test requirements and cases for new functionalities and enhancements in software products. You are observant and analytical, with strong problem-solving skills that allow you to dive deep into details and recommend corrective actions based on test results. You are internally motivated and can work proficiently both independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills are essential for preparing and communicating regular test status reports to stakeholders. You have a great passion for delivering quality software and are committed to continuous improvement in your work.

You possess solid knowledge of test management tools and software testing processes, including experience with tools like Test Director, QC, TestLink, and TestRail. Your experience includes exposure to eCommerce applications and ERP testing, which enhances your ability to understand complex systems. Familiarity with automated testing tools such as OpenScript or Selenium is a plus, as is experience with REST APIs. You may also have exposure to Agile Scrum methodology or hold certifications such as CSTE, CSQA, or ISTQB, which further validate your expertise in the field.

Desirable

While not mandatory, having experience in automation testing and a background in cloud products will set you apart. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and a proactive approach to quality assurance will be beneficial in this role.

What you'll do

As a Senior Software QA Engineer I at Celigo, you will be responsible for developing, applying, and maintaining quality standards for our Cloud products. You will design test requirements and test cases for new functionalities and enhancements introduced in the product, ensuring that all aspects of the software meet our quality standards. Your role will involve performing certification for bug fixes and enhancements, as well as preparing and communicating regular test status reports to the development team and stakeholders.

You will analyze test results and recommend corrective actions based on your findings, contributing to the continuous improvement of our testing processes. Developing and maintaining regression suites and performing regression testing will be key responsibilities, ensuring that existing functionalities remain intact as new features are introduced. You will also analyze design documents and provide feedback to the development team, helping to enhance the overall quality of our products.

In addition to manual testing, you will contribute to automation efforts by executing existing test suites and developing new test scripts. Your experience in automation will be crucial as you work towards streamlining our testing processes and improving efficiency. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to ensure that quality is integrated into every stage of the product development lifecycle.
