What you'll do

In this role, you will oversee the IT operations that support the GMP-regulated laboratory environment. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all laboratory computer systems and connected instruments operate reliably and securely. You will collaborate with laboratory and quality teams to handle equipment setup, qualification, and periodic reviews, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining backup and restore procedures to safeguard critical data and systems. Regular reviews of IT infrastructure will be part of your duties, allowing you to identify areas for improvement and ensure that all systems meet the necessary quality and security standards. You will also play a key role in troubleshooting and resolving any IT-related issues that arise within the laboratory environment.

As the Senior IT Lab Specialist, you will be expected to stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies that can enhance laboratory operations. Your insights and recommendations will help shape the IT strategy for the laboratory, ensuring that it remains efficient and compliant as the company expands.
