What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the technical accounting function, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and statutory reporting requirements. You will work closely with the Tax Team to provide guidance on accounting implications of various transactions. Your responsibilities will include developing and enhancing accounting policies, ensuring they reflect the current operations of the business. You will also be responsible for training and mentoring team members, helping them grow in their roles and understand complex accounting issues.

You will collaborate with other departments to ensure that financial disclosures are accurate and timely. This includes working with the finance team to prepare for audits and ensuring that all accounting practices align with regulatory requirements. You will also play a key role in identifying areas for process improvement within the accounting function, implementing changes that enhance efficiency and accuracy. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining a high standard of technical accounting within the organization.
