You have a proven track record of interacting with process and control owners to understand current business processes and key controls. Your ability to create control narratives and risk and control matrices for complex business processes sets you apart. You are detail-oriented and committed to producing high-quality work papers that clearly document testing results and audit observations. Your strong project management skills enable you to manage multiple assignments effectively while maintaining a high energy level.

What you'll do

As a Consultant at CFGI, you will support client teams in performing various project engagements, including SOX compliance reviews and internal audits. You will contribute to risk-based internal audit assignments, developing business process flowcharts and creating control narratives. Your role will involve interacting with process and control owners to gather insights on business processes and key controls, which will inform your testing procedures. You will create test plans, gather evidence, and execute testing procedures to assess the effectiveness of processes and controls.

You will perform control design evaluations and document your findings through high-quality work papers. Your ability to identify root causes of issues will be crucial in summarizing testing results and drafting formal reports. You will work closely with management at Fortune 500, mid-cap, and start-up companies, ensuring that your contributions align with their compliance and operational improvement goals. Your commitment to quality client service will be evident in every engagement, as you strive to deliver impactful results.
