Job Description
Who you are
You have a solid background in risk advisory, with experience in internal audits and compliance reviews — your expertise in SOX, COSO, and SOC frameworks allows you to navigate complex regulatory environments effectively. You are proficient in creating business process flowcharts using Visio or similar tools, which helps in documenting and analyzing processes. Your analytical and critical thinking abilities enable you to identify root causes of issues and summarize testing results clearly.
You thrive in team settings, interacting regularly with process and control owners to understand current business processes and key controls. Your entrepreneurial nature and self-motivation drive you to deliver high-quality client service, while your strong project management skills ensure that you can handle multiple assignments efficiently. You are dependable and ethical, with a commitment to maintaining high standards in your work.
Desirable
Experience with various compliance frameworks and internal audit methodologies is a plus, as is familiarity with business process improvement projects. You may also have a background in working with Fortune 500 companies, which gives you insight into the complexities of large-scale operations.
What you'll do
As a Consultant at CFGI, you will contribute to a variety of risk-based internal audit assignments and projects, working closely with client teams to ensure compliance and operational effectiveness. You will develop control narratives and risk and control matrices for complex business processes, ensuring that all documentation is thorough and accurate. Your role will involve creating test plans, gathering evidence for testing, and executing procedures to determine the effectiveness of processes and controls.
You will perform control design evaluations and testing of key controls associated with areas under review, documenting your findings through high-quality work papers. Your ability to draft formal reports will be essential in communicating results to stakeholders. You will also engage in business process improvement projects, identifying opportunities for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness within client organizations.
What we offer
At CFGI, you will be part of a rapidly growing team that values collaboration and professional development. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we believe in fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients, from start-ups to established Fortune 500 companies, gaining valuable experience in the risk advisory field.
