You have extensive experience in risk advisory, particularly in managing SOX projects, and you understand the complexities involved in delivering internal controls-focused projects. Your leadership skills are complemented by your ability to coach and develop team members, ensuring that they grow alongside the projects you lead. You are seen as a trusted point of contact for clients, demonstrating exceptional communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written. What you'll do
As a Director in Risk Advisory at CFGI, you will lead multiple concurrent SOX projects, guiding your team through various maturity stages, from new implementations to recurring projects. You will execute these projects with minimal supervision, ensuring that all deliverables are met on time and within budget. Your role will involve scheduling and managing teams of varying staff levels based on project needs, actively overseeing their workload to ensure progress towards milestones.
You will be responsible for managing project budgets, evaluating any changes to budgetary assumptions, and obtaining client approval for additional services as necessary. Your leadership will extend to ensuring that team member timecards are submitted accurately and on time, as well as reviewing budget-to-actuals and invoices. You will communicate project status frequently to both clients and CFGI leadership, maintaining transparency and fostering trust.
