Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in cybersecurity, with practical experience in conducting maturity and risk assessments for clients. Your expertise includes implementing security controls in areas such as MDR, IAM, and network security, ensuring that clients are well-protected against evolving threats.
You possess a deep understanding of cybersecurity strategy and can effectively communicate metrics and reporting to various stakeholders, including Audit Committees and Board of Directors. Your experience as a systems administrator, systems engineer, or security analyst has equipped you with the skills necessary to guide clients in establishing robust cybersecurity policies and procedures.
Your knowledge of operating system hardening principles and network design principles allows you to build effective risk management practices, including policies, procedures, and risk registers. You are adept at managing cybersecurity training and awareness services, from design to implementation, ensuring that clients are well-informed and prepared.
You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to work effectively in cross-cultural environments. You understand that great candidates bring a mix of skills and experiences, and you are open to collaborating with individuals from diverse backgrounds in technology management or GRC.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead cybersecurity initiatives for CFGI, conducting thorough maturity and risk assessments for clients. You will implement security controls and advise on cybersecurity strategies tailored to the unique needs of each organization. Your responsibilities will include building risk management practices, developing policies and procedures, and maintaining a comprehensive risk register.
You will guide clients in establishing cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring they are equipped to navigate the complexities of the digital landscape. Additionally, you will manage cybersecurity training and awareness services, fostering a culture of security within client organizations.
Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to communicate cybersecurity metrics and reporting effectively. You will work closely with Audit Committees and Board of Directors, providing insights that help organizations strengthen their resilience and meet regulatory requirements.
