Who you are
You have extensive experience in infrastructure engineering, with a strong focus on application performance and reliability. You understand the importance of empowering developers and have a proven track record of working with monitoring and observability tools. Your technical expertise includes proficiency in Golang, PostgreSQL, and cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS. You thrive in a remote, async-first environment and are comfortable collaborating with teams across different time zones. You are passionate about building reliable products and have experience with DevTool SaaS solutions.
Desirable
Experience with OpenTelemetry and Playwright is a plus, as is familiarity with Monitoring as Code practices. You have a keen interest in Agile methodologies and appreciate the value of good documentation and user-centric design. You are proactive in seeking feedback and continuously improving processes and products.
What you'll do
As a Staff Infrastructure Engineer at Checkly, you will work closely with a team of highly skilled engineers to enhance the performance and reliability of our synthetic monitoring platform. You will be responsible for evolving our infrastructure to support the needs of our users and internal teams.
