What you'll do

As a Staff Engineer at Cheerz, you will play a pivotal role in the migration project from Ruby to Kotlin/Spring Boot, collaborating closely with the CTO and Engineering Managers. You will be integrated into an agile squad, ensuring that you remain connected to delivery and product challenges while also dedicating time to cross-functional topics. Your primary responsibility will be to lead technical initiatives that enhance the backend architecture and improve team efficiency.

You will facilitate alignment among team members, helping to resolve disagreements and co-create solutions that leverage the collective expertise of the group. Your ability to communicate effectively will be crucial in creating an environment of trust and collaboration. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and experience to help them grow in their roles.
