You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong foundation in both backend and frontend technologies. You are adept at designing APIs and have experience working with transactional databases and caching mechanisms, ensuring that you can build reliable and scalable systems.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product, design, and engineering teams to understand member needs and develop creative solutions. Your problem-solving skills enable you to proactively identify opportunities for improving system reliability and scalability, making you a valuable asset to any team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will design, develop, test, and refactor backend implementations of new and existing consumer product features, focusing on enhancing the Cards Experience for Chime members. You will collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand member struggles and come up with innovative solutions that elevate their experience with cards. Your contributions will directly impact how members perceive and utilize their cards, expanding the benefits they receive.
You will also work across the engineering team to uphold high technical standards, ensuring that the systems you build are not only functional but also maintainable and scalable. As you engage with various projects, you will have the opportunity to shape existing and new products, making a significant impact on the overall user experience.
What we offer
Chime offers a competitive salary starting at $164,000 and going up to $227,000, along with eligibility for bonuses and a comprehensive equity package.
