CI&T is seeking a Senior Kotlin/Java Developer to work on challenging projects for one of Brazil's largest digital banks. You'll utilize your expertise in Java, Kotlin, and AWS to contribute throughout the software development lifecycle. This role requires strong knowledge of microservices architecture and agile practices.
Job Description
Who you are
You have over 5 years of experience in backend development, particularly with Java and Kotlin, and are well-versed in the principles of object-oriented programming. Your expertise includes working with microservices architecture and you are familiar with best practices in software development such as TDD, DDD, and Clean Code. You have a solid understanding of agile methodologies, including SCRUM and KANBAN, and are comfortable collaborating with teams to solve technical problems. Your communication skills enable you to effectively partner with team members and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clarity throughout the development process. You are also experienced in coding unit tests and following defined policies and processes.
Desirable
Familiarity with tools and technologies such as Kafka, SQS, and SNS is a plus. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes will enhance your ability to contribute to our cloud-based solutions. Knowledge of NoSQL databases and platforms like ApiGee and Node.js will also be beneficial in this role.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for the entire software development lifecycle, from the conception of functionalities to production deployment and ongoing maintenance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions that meet the needs of our clients. Your role will involve writing high-quality code, conducting thorough testing, and ensuring that all services are continuously improved. You will also participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions, helping to shape the direction of our projects. Your problem-solving skills will be essential as you tackle bugs and incidents, ensuring that our systems remain robust and reliable.
