Who you are

You have at least 3 years of experience with the Databricks data platform, including setting up workspaces, delta lake, and ingestion workflows. Your solid experience in architecture design and technical leadership allows you to effectively translate business problems into data solutions, including BI and machine learning models. You are well-versed in cloud technologies, particularly Azure or AWS, and have a strong understanding of non-functional requirements such as performance and security. Your experience with scaling data workloads using platforms like Hadoop and Spark makes you a valuable asset to any team.

You possess a deep understanding of CI/CD and MLOps pipelines, which enables you to streamline the development process and ensure high-quality data products. Your knowledge of Infrastructure as Code allows you to automate and manage infrastructure efficiently. You are comfortable collaborating with pre-sales teams, presenting data solutions, and demonstrating technical capabilities to non-technical audiences. You thrive in environments where you can lead technically and guarantee a stable and productive development environment.

Desirable

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the technical design of software solutions tailored for EMEA clients, collaborating closely with teams across the UK, EU, and Latin America. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying data pipelines, data lakes, and data meshes, ensuring that the solutions you create are scalable and efficient. Your role will involve identifying and prioritizing non-functional requirements and addressing technical pain points to enhance the overall architecture.

You will work on translating complex business problems into actionable data solutions, leveraging your expertise in analytics and machine learning. Your leadership will guide the team in implementing best practices for data architecture and ensuring that the development environment remains stable and productive. You will also engage in pre-sales activities, presenting your solutions to potential clients and demonstrating the technical capabilities of your team.
