You have 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related fields, with a strong background in building and maintaining cloud infrastructure. Your expertise in AWS and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes allows you to design scalable and reliable systems that meet high availability requirements. You thrive in production environments and enjoy solving complex operational challenges, demonstrating a hands-on approach to your work.

Your proficiency in automation tools such as Ansible and your deep understanding of Linux systems enable you to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including platform and product engineering, to deploy high-quality software in a fast-paced environment. Your strong communication skills help you articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You are committed to continuous improvement and are always looking for ways to optimize workflows and enhance system performance. You understand the importance of monitoring and alerting systems to ensure operational excellence and are willing to participate in on-call support rotations to maintain service reliability.

Desirable

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code practices is a plus. Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana will help you excel in this role. A background in software development can also be beneficial, as it allows you to better understand the software lifecycle and collaborate effectively with development teams.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design, implement, and automate components of large-scale distributed cloud systems. You will build tools and workflows that improve availability, scalability, and latency, ensuring that our cloud platform meets the needs of our customers. Working closely with engineering and delivery teams, you will deploy high-quality software and contribute to the overall success of the product.

You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our cloud infrastructure, ensuring that it is secure, efficient, and scalable. Your role will involve troubleshooting and resolving operational issues, as well as implementing best practices for system reliability and performance. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and share your knowledge with the team, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.
