Who you are

You have over 2 years of experience in new business sales, particularly in SaaS or subscription-based solutions, and you understand the nuances of corporate communications and marketing. Your interpersonal and communication skills are excellent, allowing you to engage effectively with clients and prospects. You are fluent in English, both spoken and written, which enables you to communicate clearly in a global environment. You are proficient in using Internet and PC software, especially MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and have user knowledge of CRM systems, with Salesforce being a significant advantage.

What you'll do

In this role, you will focus on new business sales for Cision's platform solutions, targeting professionals in marketing, corporate communications, public relations, and investor relations. You will engage with clients over the phone, via emails, and through face-to-face meetings to reach or exceed specific quarterly and annual sales targets. Your primary focus will be on corporate workflow solutions such as media monitoring, social media management, and newswire distribution. You will ensure that all clients receive the highest standards of service and that their corporate PR and marketing communications needs are met throughout the year. Staying ahead of the competition will be crucial, so you will follow up on leads and maintain regular contact with clients and prospects. Additionally, you will provide regular feedback on sales activities to your supervisor, including insights on client wins and losses, competition activity, and product feedback.
