Who you are
You have a strong background in finance operations, particularly in settlements, and are comfortable working in a highly regulated broker-dealer environment. Your attention to detail ensures the accurate and timely settlement of securities transactions, and you thrive in a control-driven atmosphere. You are adaptable and ready to take on new responsibilities as business needs evolve, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
You understand the complexities of equity settlements, including DTC functions, ACAT and non-ACAT customer transfers, and reconciliations. Your experience allows you to navigate challenges effectively, ensuring that all cash and position movements are handled with precision. You are a team player who values collaboration and contributes positively to a high-performance workforce.
What you'll do
In this role, you will focus on performing DTC equity settlement functions, ensuring that all transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. You will handle customer transfers and reconciliations, working closely with the Settlements team to maintain a seamless operation. As you gain experience, you will have the opportunity to expand your responsibilities through cross-training in related areas such as Global Tax Operations and Asset Servicing.
You will be responsible for monitoring and resolving any discrepancies that arise during the settlement process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to enhance operational efficiency and minimize risks associated with settlements. You will contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, sharing insights and best practices with your colleagues to foster a collaborative work environment.
