You have extensive experience in securities settlement operations, particularly within the Canadian market, and possess a deep understanding of equities and cash movements. What you'll do
As the Associate Director, Settlements, you will own the Canadian securities settlement operations for Clear Street, focusing primarily on equities and related cash movements. Initially, your responsibilities will include day-to-day settlement execution, fail management, reconciliations, and control oversight. Over time, you will expand your role to support new products, increased volumes, and ongoing automation efforts, ensuring that the settlement processes remain efficient and compliant with regulatory standards.
You will lead a team responsible for the settlement of Canadian equity trades through CDS/CDSX, including DVP/RVP transactions. Your leadership will be crucial in managing risk and ensuring that all operations run smoothly. You will also be involved in process design, continuously looking for ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs for clients. Your role will require you to collaborate closely with other departments, including product and engineering, to align settlement operations with the company's broader goals.
