What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer at Clear Street, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the backend systems that power AI features in the Clear Street Studio trading platform. You will own the AI service layer, focusing on retrieval, orchestration, guardrails, and evaluation to ensure high-quality outputs. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams across the firm to identify high ROI AI opportunities and translating rapid prototypes into production-grade systems.

You will build tooling to monitor, tune, and evaluate models and workflows, ensuring that they meet both quality and regulatory requirements. Your work will directly impact how clients interact with markets, enhancing their trading experience through innovative AI solutions. You will also create reusable libraries and SDKs to enable AI development throughout the firm, contributing to a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
