What you'll do

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building and enhancing Clear Street's Securities Finance and Finance & Treasury platforms. You will design and implement scalable microservices that support various trading functions, ensuring reliability and performance under high load. Collaborating with traders and product managers, you will translate business requirements into technical specifications, driving the development of features that enhance user experience and operational efficiency. You will participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team. Your contributions will directly impact the success of the trading systems, enabling sophisticated investors to access a wide range of assets across markets.

You will also engage in performance tuning and optimization of existing systems, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to improve throughput and latency.
