What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the engineering efforts for Cloudinary's AI Algorithm Platform, focusing on the design and implementation of systems that serve production-grade AI models. You will collaborate closely with research teams to understand their needs and translate them into scalable solutions that can be deployed effectively. Your work will involve re-designing and evolving the platform to meet the growing demands of the organization.

You will also support MLOps initiatives, ensuring that AI models are not only developed but also maintained and optimized for performance in real-world applications. This includes monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing improvements based on feedback from users and stakeholders.

Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of innovation within the engineering team, encouraging experimentation and the adoption of best practices in software development. You will mentor junior engineers, helping them grow their skills and contribute effectively to the team's goals.
