Who you are

You have extensive experience as a Senior Cloud Architect, particularly with AWS, and are adept at providing architectural leadership and technical governance for enterprise cloud platforms. Your background includes designing secure, scalable, and resilient cloud environments, and you are familiar with the AWS Well-Architected Framework principles. You understand the importance of cloud security and have experience in defining infrastructure, networking, and security architectures.

You are comfortable working with government clients and understand the requirements for security clearance, including SC clearance eligibility. Your ability to collaborate with client stakeholders ensures that you can effectively define the standards that underpin successful cloud adoption. You are also skilled in leading cost-optimization strategies and promoting cost-aware engineering practices.

Desirable

Experience with cloud operating model transformations and governance frameworks is advantageous. Familiarity with enterprise security strategies, risk management, and compliance will set you apart. You are proactive in your approach and are willing to obtain DV clearance in the future, which is a plus.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design and operate enterprise-scale AWS Landing Zones, ensuring that they meet the needs of both public and private sector organizations. You will provide technical governance for cloud workload delivery and design controls to prevent, detect, and remediate AWS security risks. Your leadership will guide cloud operating model transformations and the establishment of Cloud Centers of Excellence (CCoE).

You will define RACI models, governance frameworks, and operational standards that align with best practices in cloud architecture. Your responsibilities will also include overseeing enterprise security strategies and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that cloud solutions are not only effective but also secure and compliant.
