What you'll do

As the Lead Applications Security Architect, you will own and lead Cognism's enterprise Application Security Program. Your primary responsibility will be to define and evolve the application security strategy in alignment with business risk and compliance requirements. You will champion security-by-design principles and advocate for DevSecOps practices across the organization. Collaborating closely with Product, Technology, Architecture, and Operations leadership, you will ensure that security requirements are integrated into the full application lifecycle.

You will define and enforce application security policies, standards, and architectures, ensuring they align with Cognism's risk profile and enterprise security strategy. Your role will involve conducting security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and recommending remediation strategies to enhance the security posture of applications and systems. You will also lead security training and awareness initiatives to empower teams to prioritize security in their work.

In addition, you will stay abreast of emerging security threats and trends, adapting the Application Security Program as necessary to address new challenges. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of security awareness and collaboration across the organization, ensuring that all teams understand their role in maintaining a secure environment.
