Who you are

You are an IT Operations Specialist with a strong foundation in providing technical support and troubleshooting hardware and software issues. You have experience working with tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, and Notion, and you are comfortable assisting employees with their IT needs. You understand the importance of effective communication and collaboration, especially in a diverse team environment. You are proactive in identifying and resolving issues, ensuring that all employees have the tools they need to succeed. You are detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of service.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be the primary support point of contact for the UK Cohere office, providing first response for all IT support requests from employees globally during your shift. You will identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software problems, ensuring that employees can work effectively. You will also provide training on our tools and systems, helping employees to maximize their use of technology. Working closely with the People Ops team, you will assist with onboarding and offboarding employees, ensuring a seamless transition. Additionally, you will oversee in-office networking and AV requirements, continually working to improve and optimize our current setup. Your role will be crucial in maintaining a productive work environment and supporting the overall mission of Cohere.
