You have a strong background in quality assurance with at least 5 years of experience in testing applications and web platforms. Your expertise includes creating detailed test plans and test cases that ensure comprehensive coverage of requirements and specifications. You are skilled in identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs, ensuring that all issues are resolved before product releases. Your experience in Agile/Scrum development processes allows you to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers.

You possess solid knowledge of SQL and scripting, which enables you to perform thorough regression testing and validate data integrity. Your analytical mindset and attention to detail help you identify potential issues early in the development cycle. You are fluent in English and have basic Chinese speaking skills, which enhances your ability to communicate with diverse teams. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is part of your educational background, providing you with a strong foundation in technical concepts.

You have a keen interest in product analysis and a hacking mindset that drives you to explore innovative testing strategies. Experience in performance or security testing is a bonus, as is familiarity with automation framework design and implementation, which can enhance the efficiency of testing processes.

What you'll do

In this role, you will review application and web requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. You will create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases that guide the testing process. Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing activities will be key responsibilities, ensuring that testing aligns with project timelines and goals.

You will design, develop, and execute manual test scripts using the internal manual framework and system. Identifying, recording, documenting thoroughly, and tracking all bugs will be essential to maintaining high-quality standards. You will perform thorough regression testing for applications when bugs are resolved, ensuring that fixes do not introduce new issues.

Developing and applying testing processes for new and existing products will be part of your contributions to meet business needs. You will liaise with internal teams, including developers and product managers, to ensure that testing aligns with overall project objectives and user expectations. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining the quality and reliability of CoinMarketCap's data services, ultimately contributing to the company's mission of being the world's authority on cryptocurrency data.
