You have a strong background in commercial law with experience drafting and negotiating sales agreements in a SaaS environment — your expertise allows you to navigate complex legal landscapes and provide sound legal advice to various stakeholders. You are business-minded and understand the importance of aligning legal strategies with business objectives, ensuring that legal risks are managed effectively while supporting sales initiatives.

You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Finance, and Security — your ability to articulate legal concepts in a clear and concise manner fosters strong partnerships across the organization. You are detail-oriented, ensuring that all agreements are meticulously reviewed and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.

What you'll do

In this role, you will support Fivetran’s sales organization by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating customer-facing commercial agreements, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), order forms, Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), and Business Associate Agreements (BAAs). You will partner closely with Sales, Deal Desk, Finance, Security, and Revenue Operations to facilitate efficient deal execution while managing legal and business risk. Your advisory role will encompass contractual issues related to data protection, privacy, security, intellectual property, liability, and compliance, ensuring that Fivetran operates within legal frameworks while driving business growth.
