Who you are
You are a technician with a strong hands-on skill set and a process-oriented mindset, eager to support innovative neuromonitoring technology. You have experience in electronics and mechanical engineering, allowing you to effectively troubleshoot and maintain complex systems. Your ability to work collaboratively with engineers and your attention to detail make you an ideal fit for this role.
You enjoy working with prototype systems and have a passion for improving and supporting products throughout their life cycle. Your familiarity with assembly, calibration, and repairs will enable you to contribute significantly to the team. You are proactive in identifying issues and are committed to ensuring that devices are reliable and functional for both internal and external use.
What you'll do
In this role, you will assist in maintaining and supporting an existing fleet of prototypes, which includes tasks such as assembly, rework, calibration, and updates. You will perform hands-on troubleshooting across electronics, basic software setup, and mechanical assemblies, ensuring that all systems are operational and meet quality standards. You will conduct repairs, part replacements, and board rework under the guidance of engineers, gaining valuable experience in the process.
You will also be involved in the construction of cables and test fixtures, contributing to the overall efficiency of the product development organization. Your role will require you to be adaptable and willing to learn, as you will be working with cutting-edge technology that is constantly evolving. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse team, sharing knowledge and skills to enhance the product support process.
