Who you are
You are a Product Support Engineer with a strong background in electronics and mechanical engineering, possessing the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues across various subsystems. You have experience leading root cause investigations and implementing corrective actions for recurring problems, ensuring the reliability of hardware systems. Your collaborative spirit allows you to work effectively with software and optics engineers, contributing to the overall success of product development and lifecycle management.
You have a keen understanding of lifecycle management for hardware systems, becoming the subject matter expert for existing devices. Your technical expertise enables you to provide valuable feedback during the design and development phases, ensuring that products are designed with serviceability in mind. You thrive in environments where you can apply your tactical skills to solve critical path issues and improve device performance.
What you'll do
In this role, you will support CoMind's fleet of neuromonitoring devices, both internally and externally. You will lead lifecycle engineering efforts across electronics and mechanical domains, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to diagnose issues and implement durable fixes. Your responsibilities will include creating work instructions and test protocols, developing test fixtures and service tools, and providing design-for-serviceability feedback during product development.
You will be responsible for performing root-cause investigations and implementing corrective actions for recurring issues, ensuring the reliability of the fleet for internal and external users. Your role will also involve supporting the product development organization in transferring the next-generation neuromonitoring product from development into manufacturing. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall user experience by ensuring that the devices function optimally and meet the highest standards of quality.
