You have a strong technical background in areas such as AppDev, SysAdmin, or Distributed Computing — you've successfully advised customers on their architectures and strategies for operating complex systems. Your fluency in German allows you to effectively communicate with clients in the DACH region, ensuring they receive the best support possible. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product Management, and Engineering to drive customer success. Your ability to ask hard questions and provide honest feedback makes you a trusted advisor to your clients.

You possess a deep understanding of the Confluent product suite and are passionate about helping customers achieve their business objectives. You are skilled at identifying best practices and providing technical guidance that accelerates time to value for customers. Your experience in customer success roles has equipped you with the skills to retain and expand customer relationships, ensuring they maximize their use of the Confluent platform.

What you'll do

As a Customer Success Technical Architect at Confluent, you will act as a trusted technical advisor to customers across EMEA. Your primary objective will be to ensure customer success, retention, and expansion by providing technical guidance and best practices for the Confluent product suite. You will partner with others in Customer Solutions and collaborate with cross-functional divisions such as Sales, Product Management, and Engineering to help customers accelerate their time to value and achieve their overall business objectives.

You will leverage your technical expertise to advise customers on their architectures, including patterns and strategies for operating and maturing their Confluent subscription. Your role will involve conducting technical workshops, providing architectural reviews, and delivering training sessions to empower customers to utilize the Confluent platform effectively. You will also be responsible for identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services and products to enhance customer satisfaction and drive revenue growth.
