Confluent is seeking a Sales Specialist for National Accounts to drive revenue growth for their Data Streaming Platform. You'll focus on building strategic partnerships and executing go-to-market strategies. This role requires a proven sales background in the data infrastructure space.

Who you are
You are a highly motivated and results-oriented sales professional with a strong track record of building revenue streams and business value, specifically within the data infrastructure space. You thrive in collaborative environments where you can ask hard questions and give honest feedback, contributing to a team that values curiosity and teamwork.
You have experience in developing and executing regional go-to-market strategies, identifying key personas, and creating targeted sales campaigns. Your ability to manage strategic partnerships with various stakeholders, including first line Account Executives, Sales Engineers, Product Management, and Marketing, sets you apart.
What you'll do
In this role, you will develop and drive the sales motion for Confluent's Data Streaming Platform (DSP). You will be responsible for defining clear objectives, targeting segments, and establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success. You will create and execute targeted sales campaigns utilizing direct sales and digital strategies to capture DSP workloads from Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and ETL/Reverse ETL vendors.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align your sales strategies with Confluent's strategic goals. Your focus will be on preparing AI-Ready data and ensuring that the sales initiatives resonate with the market's needs. You will also be expected to analyze market trends and customer feedback to refine your approach continuously.
