What you'll do

In this role, you will set the strategic direction for the UI Platform at Confluent, ensuring that all user interface investments align with the company's vision of becoming the central data streaming platform for organizations. You will work closely with engineering counterparts to define a roadmap that translates this strategy into actionable projects. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the development of reusable shared experiences that enhance user engagement, such as notifications, search, and navigation.

You will also explore innovative opportunities to elevate the UI through AI-driven features, such as chatbots and intelligent notifications. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that the user interfaces are intuitive and effective for managing complex data streaming deployments. Your role will involve regular communication with stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on product features, ensuring that the UI continuously evolves to meet user needs.
