What you'll do

In this role, you will be instrumental in developing the next iterations of Flink SQL components, including the logical query planner, parser, optimizer, and SQL runtime on Confluent Cloud. Your work will focus on delivering an efficient and unified experience for both batch and streaming workloads, ensuring that users can leverage the full potential of the platform.

You will collaborate closely with a team of Flink experts, iterating on existing implementations based on actual usage data and product requirements. Your contributions will not only benefit Confluent but also the open-source community, as you work on relevant components of Apache Flink. You will engage in holistic development practices, ensuring that the solutions you create are robust, scalable, and user-friendly.
