You have 5+ years of backend engineering experience, particularly in building scalable production systems. Your expertise includes owning services from design through deployment, and you have a strong understanding of debugging complex distributed systems issues. You possess deep knowledge of Java and Spring, having shipped high-throughput APIs that handle millions of requests. You have strong opinions on service architecture, dependency injection, and testing strategies, which you apply in your work. Your experience with blockchain technologies, especially Ethereum, positions you well for this role, as you understand the unique challenges and opportunities in the web3 ecosystem. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions. You are eager to stay at the forefront of technology and continuously learn from your peers.

Desirable

Experience with Web3.js and other blockchain frameworks is a plus, as is familiarity with data lake architectures and big data processing. You may also have experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, which can enhance your contributions to the team.

What you'll do

You will collaborate closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. Your work will involve optimizing existing systems for performance and scalability, ensuring that they can handle increasing loads as the user base grows. You will also participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to your peers and helping to maintain high coding standards within the team. As part of your responsibilities, you will monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise, ensuring that the platform remains reliable and efficient. You will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and helping them grow in their careers. Additionally, you will stay updated on the latest trends in blockchain technology and web3 development, applying this knowledge to improve the platform and drive innovation.
