What you'll do
As the AV Event Technology Manager, you will be responsible for planning and executing all technology services related to conferences and events. This includes managing audio and video systems, ensuring high-speed internet access, and providing desktop support for both customers and associates. You will work closely with the General Manager and the Regional AV Manager to align technology strategies with the overall goals of the property. Your role will involve training and mentoring team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. You will also be tasked with troubleshooting technical issues during events, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Collaboration with other departments will be key, as you will need to coordinate with event planners, catering teams, and other stakeholders to deliver a premium experience. You will stay updated on the latest AV technology trends and innovations, implementing new solutions that enhance the guest experience and streamline operations.
