Who you are
You are a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with a strong background in building automated test frameworks and scripts. With high proficiency in Python and Bash, you have experience designing scalable automation solutions that ensure the reliability of network security applications. You understand the importance of cybersecurity and are passionate about creating tools that help defend against cyber threats.
You have a solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles and have implemented dynamic test environments across major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. Your experience with tools like Ansible and Terraform allows you to manage and automate infrastructure efficiently. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for developing security-focused integration tests that validate complex security logic.
What you'll do
In this role, you will architect automation frameworks that are crucial for validating Corelight's cutting-edge network security applications. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks and scripts, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality. Your work will involve simulating complex network traffic and stress-testing integrations with technologies like Zeek, Suricata, and YARA.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into effective testing strategies. By developing robust automated tests, you will help speed up incident response and enhance our customers' ability to proactively hunt for threats. Your contributions will be vital in building the trust that Corelight establishes with its customers.
