You are proactive in identifying areas for improvement in data collection methods and accounting processes, ensuring continuous enhancement of operational efficiency.

What you'll do

In this role, you will execute the payment settlement process and financial closing procedures according to accounting standards. You will review accounting treatments for new business transactions and lead the design of systems and processes to support these transactions. Your responsibilities will include analyzing financial issues and ensuring compliance with K-IFRS and internal accounting policies. You will also support external and internal audits, ensuring that all financial practices meet regulatory standards.

You will collaborate with various departments to understand the payment processing structure and review operational processes. Your role will involve analyzing transaction structures for new payment methods and financial services, ensuring that accounting treatments are appropriate. You will continuously propose and implement improvements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of accounting processes. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining the integrity of Coupang's financial reporting and supporting the company's growth in the fintech environment.
