Who you are

You have over 4 years of experience in frontend engineering, demonstrating proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Your deep understanding of modern web development frameworks enables you to build interactive web applications that enhance user experience. You are skilled in interpreting key UI/UX design principles and applying responsive and adaptive design techniques to create seamless user interfaces. You have successfully launched at least one major product in the past year, showcasing your ability to deliver impactful features. Your practical experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or AngularJS equips you to tackle complex frontend challenges effectively. Additionally, you possess strong communication skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with product, design, and backend teams.

Desirable

Experience in developing for Smart TV platforms like LG Web OS or Samsung Tizen OS would be a plus. Familiarity with server-side rendering using Next.js or Nuxt.js is also desirable. Knowledge of Chromecast application development and media security practices, including authentication and authorization, will set you apart. You are comfortable communicating in English, both verbally and in writing, which is essential for collaborating with global teams.

What you'll do

As a Front-end Engineer in the Coupang Play CX team, you will design and improve intuitive web environments that enhance customer experiences. You will build and develop new user-facing features on the web platform, focusing on optimizing touchpoints throughout the customer journey to deliver the best streaming experience. Collaborating closely with product, design, and backend/mobile engineering teams, you will solve various service and technical challenges to provide optimal solutions for an exceptional customer experience. You will implement best practices for developing reusable and testable components and frameworks, ensuring high performance and easy scalability of applications. Your role will involve continuous improvement of the web platform, leveraging the latest technologies to enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
