What you'll do

As a Senior/Staff Web Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and enhancing the core architecture of the streaming application service, ensuring consistency across platforms such as web browsers, smart TVs, and Chromecast web receivers. You will lead efforts to improve key performance indicators related to streaming, including start times and adaptive bitrate logic. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams, including video infrastructure, product, and design, to ensure a seamless and enjoyable streaming experience for users. You will define and monitor real-time streaming metrics for live events, providing technical guidance to the live operations team. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the streaming service meets product requirements while remaining flexible for future feature expansions.
