Who you are
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in managing complex sales opportunities and driving revenue growth. With at least 5 years of experience in a strategic sales role, you excel at identifying and closing net-new business while curating a robust sales pipeline. Your ability to build long-term relationships with executive decision-makers sets you apart, as you understand the nuances of navigating high-stakes negotiations and fostering trust with clients.
You are a natural hunter, driven by results and motivated by the challenge of achieving ambitious sales targets. Your experience in the technology sector, particularly in AI or contact center solutions, gives you a unique perspective on how to leverage technology to meet customer needs. You thrive in environments where you can collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to articulate complex solutions in a way that resonates with diverse audiences. You are comfortable presenting to C-level executives and can translate technical concepts into business value. You are also adept at using data to inform your sales strategies, ensuring that your approach is both strategic and data-driven.
Desirable
Experience in the AI or contact center industry is a plus, as is familiarity with CRM tools and sales analytics platforms. You may also have a background in consulting or business development, which enhances your ability to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions.
What you'll do
As the Strategic Sales Director at Cresta, you will be responsible for leading our largest and most complex sales opportunities. You will report directly to the RVP of Strategic Sales and will be instrumental in driving revenue growth through strategic account management. Your role will involve identifying potential clients, developing tailored sales strategies, and executing plans to close deals that align with Cresta's mission of revolutionizing customer conversations through AI.
You will curate a pipeline of high-value opportunities, leveraging your network and industry knowledge to engage with key decision-makers. Your ability to build and maintain relationships will be crucial as you work to understand client needs and position Cresta's solutions effectively. You will collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to ensure that our offerings meet market demands and exceed client expectations.
In addition to direct sales responsibilities, you will also play a key role in shaping our sales strategy and processes. You will provide feedback to leadership on market trends and customer insights, helping to refine our approach and drive continuous improvement in our sales efforts. Your leadership will inspire and guide your team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
