Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in construction cost estimation, with experience leading end-to-end estimating efforts for complex projects. Your ability to develop robust cost models aligns with design intent and delivery strategies, ensuring financial accuracy throughout the project lifecycle. You excel in collaborating with cross-functional teams, validating quantity take-offs, and unit pricing to support project execution. Your analytical skills allow you to evaluate vendor proposals against internal benchmarks and historical data, ensuring the best value for the company.
You are detail-oriented and proactive in your approach to cash flow forecasting, which supports financial planning and budget tracking. Your experience includes providing detailed estimates for various systems, including CSA, MEP, and mission-critical systems for both domestic and international builds. You understand the importance of analyzing variances and modeling cost impacts due to design changes or procurement risks, making you a valuable asset to any project team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the estimating efforts for data center builds, from early-stage planning through construction execution. You will develop cost models that align with evolving project scopes and collaborate closely with design, procurement, and delivery teams to validate estimates. Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining project cash flow forecasts to support financial planning and funding requests. You will provide detailed estimates for various systems and evaluate vendor proposals to ensure alignment with internal benchmarks.
You will analyze variances and model cost impacts due to design changes, procurement risks, or schedule shifts, ensuring that projects remain on budget and on schedule. Your role will require you to partner with finance and real estate teams to ensure internal equity and alignment with market data.
